Rick's Cabaret To Announce Third Quarter Earnings August 14th, With Conference Call At 4:30 PM And "Due Diligence Ball" In NYC

Company Will Make Presentation to New York's Financial Analysts and Money Management Society Meeting on August 16th

HOUSTON -(August 9, 2006)- Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. [NASDAQ:RICK], will report earnings for its third quarter ended June 30, 2006 on Monday, August 14th, with a conference call at 4:30 p.m. EDT.

The conference call, led by company CEO Eric Langan, will webcast live on the Rick's Cabaret website (www.ricks.com) and will be available to callers toll free at 877-407-8031 (Live participant dial in for international callers is 201-689-8031).

Following the conference call Mr. Langan will be the host of the third Due Diligence Ball at Rick's Cabaret-NYC, 50 West 33rd Street.
