RCI May Delay Filing Annual Report Due to Hurricane Harvey
Houston—December 11, 2017—RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RICK) said it may require additional time to complete the audit for the year ended September 30, 2017.
The potential delay is due to issues RCI encountered as a result of Hurricane Harvey combined with the implementation of a new accounting system. As a result, the company may request a filing extension for its annual report.
"We hope we will be able to report on December 14 as scheduled," said Eric Langan, President and CEO. "Everyone is working diligently to make up for the two weeks we lost in September due to the hurricane and then the transition to the new accounting system in October. But we wanted investors to know that we may need more time to file our Form 10-K."
