While net income for nightclub same-location-same-period rose nearly
two percent year-over-year, net operating income for all nightclub
operations, was $1,934,574 for the year ended September 30, 2003 compared

"Our
results this year reflect our continued efforts to reduce costs in
out club operations through improved inventory management, to improve
margins from liquor and food sales and to improve food service efficiency,"
said Eric Langan, CEO of Rick's Cabaret. "We have completed the
restructuring of our Internet operations and this part of our business
should stabilize in the near term."
"We
expanded our night club operations in 2003 by acquiring 51% control
of a popular adult nightclub near Hobby Airport in Houston, which
is now part of our popular XTC Cabaret group, and we opened an adjacent
sports bar called Hummers. We continue to look for advantageous opportunities
for further growth in the cabaret area, where our business model has
proved to be extremely efficient," Mr. Langan said.
